Besides his family members and close friends, the Housefull 2 actor looks up to his Dostana director for advice
Whenever he’s asked about his equation with Karan Johar, John Abraham has admitted that he will always be very grateful to the successful filmmaker for giving him a film like Dostana – a movie that gave a fillip to john’s career. Last year, John went through turmoil in personal life when he broke up with his long time girlfriend Bipasha Basu.John had few people, including a few Bollywood ladies who played agony aunt to the beefy actor, and even though he respects all of them for their love and affection, he believes Karan is the ‘real and perfect’ agony aunt of B-town! Sorry Karan, don’t take us wrong.
“I am very close to Karan and he is someone I could talk my heart out to. He is the agony aunt for the entire industry. With me, he does not have to listen to the woes and the politics of Bollywood, as he knows that I am detached from that space. For me, I look at someone from the way the person takes care of his parents and I love the way Karan takes care of his mother,” John said in an interview. Indeed, bahot gehra dostana hain!
