Dabangg 2’s Fevicol se in trouble for using the word ‘laundiya’

And the National Commission for Women has sent a notice to Arbaaz Khan
Almost a couple of months after its release, Dabangg 2′s superhit song Fevicol se has landed into trouble. It all began when a tehsildar of North India frowned at the line ‘Laundiya patayenge missed call se’ and opined that it sounded derogatory towards women. He reported it to the National Commission for Women who took up the issue.




“People must learn to respect women instead of using abusive words against them or depicting them in a bad way in film songs,” Nirmala Samant-Prabhavalkar of NCW said. The NCW tried getting a reply from Arbaaz Khan over this matter, but in vain. Finally, they brought the matter to the notice of Pankaja Thakur, CEO, Central Board of Film Certification. He in turn contacted the Mumbai police commissioner Satyapal Singh requesting him to get an explanation from Khan.

Now, Arbaaz Khan’s lawyer visited the commissioner’s office in New Delhi yesterday to seek time to reply to the notice.
