Dostana duo, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan all set to romance in Punjab

Karan Johar has given his nod to the sequel of Dostana (2008), and we hear after a lot of hemming and hawing, the makers have locked the final script and the main location

While we got to see John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan frolicking around on the idyllic beaches of Miami, in the sequel, the two will surprise us by appearing in drastically different avatars. In Dostana, Johnny boy and AB baby swanned around in designer clothes, but we hear in Dostana 2, they plan to go all desi and ballistic in the khets of Punjab.

But deciding on all this wasn’t easy. Apparently Karan Johar and Taran Mansukhani (director of Dostana) had to rework on the script a couple of times, just so that it was funnier and spicier than the original flick. But the heroine is yet to be decided and we wonder who will replace Priyanka Chopra this time.

Also, the new development in the story might disappoint hardcore John fans out there. Well, don’t expect him to flaunt his butt crack this time, and mesmerise you with his teeny-weeny swimming trunk. That’s not going to happen, ‘coz this time the whole style flavour has changed. The hunk will be seen wearing a dhoti, we hear.

Johny in dhoti and Abhishek trying his hand at some gay banter in the rustic fields of Punjab – sounds interesting, as long as some Punjabi munda doesn’t get offended and bashes the two up!
