Rishi Kapoor plays flamboyant businessman in Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi

The newest villain of B-town has turned into a ‘pink’ business tycoon for the showman’s musical thriller
The showman of Bollywood and the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor have joined hands after three decades. Subhash Ghai started shooting his musical thriller Kaanchi at Film City on February 24. At a budget of Rs 35 crores, Kaanchi is one of the most ambitious projects from the Mukta Arts banner.




The film which marks the debut of actor Mishti opposite Kartik Tiwari (who was last seen in Akaash Vani) will also see Rishi Kapoor play a pivotal role. Chintuji is playing a business tycoon and a devilish villain in this production. Looking at the picture, we wonder how many (read real) businessmen wear coloured suits and red frames!

“It was really nostalgic to work with my favourite director friend Subhash Ghai after 32 years and I am happy that we are working together. I am sure my role in Kaanchi is going to be very lovable and memorable,” said Rishi Kapoor. Now, we can’t wait to see what Ghai and his favourite actor have in store for us!
