The Kapoor lad maintains that his equation with his ex-flame was strictly professional on the sets of their forthcoming movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor – once the hot pair of B-town – will share screen space in Ayan Mukerji’s forthcoming directorial venture Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. This is the ex-lovebird’s first film together post their break-up in 2010. But how did the two put their past behind and start a project on a fresh note as just two good friends.
“When we come on a movie, we come individually as actors because we have liked our parts individually and that’s pretty much it,” said Ranbir in an interview.
The 30-year-old Kapoor scion, it seems, knows how to put the baggage of his not-so-rosy past behind. “You know, I am ambitious, I am hard working and so is she, and we both want to do our job to best of our capabilities. So it has nothing to do with past; it has nothing to do with who is bringing what and what baggage. And is it awkward? No. I mean, we are on a movie set, we are working and that’s pretty much it,” added the Barfi! boy.
And since both Ranbir and Deepika have moved on in their personal space, we hope professionally the two can continue sizzling as one of the best looking jodis on the silver screen! What say, folks?
