Kareena Kapoor plays a prostitute in ‘Talaash’!

Kareena Kapoor who previously played the role of a sex worker in one of her best films till date ‘Chameli’, takes on the role once again in her upcoming film Talaash, opposite Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherjee. Yes! Kareena Kapoor plays a prostitute once again and she describes this role amongst one of her most sensitive and powerful.
Kareena said: “I play a prostitute, who is kind of an escort. It’s a very deep character. I have hopefully achieved a sensitive performance. It’s by far one of my most sensitive performances, I believe.”
Kareena also added that her role in Talaash can not be compared to her character portrayed in Chameli.

” ‘Chameli’ was totally different. It was very raw. The lingo and the language, body language and the outfit – everything was different. Here from head to toe, the performance, and everything is different,” added Kareena.




When asked about what motivated her to become a part of this film, Kareena said that she only signed the film because it allowed her to work with Aamir Khan once again.
“I don’t look at the project with commercial aspect. I wanted to work with Reema (Kagti) and wanted to work with Aamir again. I loved the role that was offered to me. This is one of the most powerful roles that I have done,” she said.
“Reema comes across as a very strong director and a strong personality, but when you get to know her, she is a very sensitive girl and that is what she has brought about in her actors and in her film,” Kareena Kapoor said.
