Parineeti Chopra loses out to Sonakshi Sinha for a role with Akshay Kumar

Contrary to rumours, it’s not Piggy Chops’ little sister but Sona who has bagged her third film opposite the Khiladi

Sonakshi Sinha it seems is slowly learning the ropes of Bollywood quite well. We say this because the Dabangg actor recently managed a coup of sorts as she has bagged a role opposite Akshay Kumar in the remake of the South film Thuppakki. And it’s not only Parineeti Chopra that Sona has managed to defeat. Other actors who were vying for the role in the action thriller to be directed by AR Murugadoss included Diana Penty, Nargis Fakhri, Asin Thottumkal, Deepika Padukone and even Katrina Kaif.

Sona in fact pursued with such persistence and confidence as she had already starred twice opposite Akshay, and also boycotted the promotions of Joker alongside him. Well, seems that politics comes naturally to her, and the game she played by ignoring Joker’s promotions worked in her favour.

Anyway, worry not Parineeti. You’re still quite young, and should find stars a little closer to your age. Wink wink!
