ABCD – Any Body Can Dance quick movie review: Prabhu Deva’s Hindi diction leaves us in giggles!

Our critic Deboshree Ghosh is watching Prabhu Deva and Remo D’Souza’s first film ABCD – Any Body Can Dance right now. 





And she shared her first impression of the movie with us. She texted: “Prabhu Deva‘s Hindi leaves us in splits, Ganesh Acharya hams it up and Kay Kay Menon is super as the sinister enterpreneur who runs Jehangir Dance Classes.”

She liked the members of reality show Dance India Dance that are part of the film, including Salman Yusuf Khan. She said, “Loved the Parkour techniques used by these Dance India Dance kids in the beginning of the film, when the cops are chasing them.”

As for the post interval story, she is not too sure. She concluded, “The movie began with Kay Kay replacing Prabhu Deva with a la di da firang teacher. Does Prabhu Deva lose hope and return to Chennai? Or does he have his Eureka moment and aim for something bigger? We wait for something awesome to happen – a point that hooks us to the film.”
