The new Bollywood release Fukrey faced tough competition from the Hollywood actioner Man Of Steel at the box office during the weekend.
Fukrey, starring Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Varun Sharma and Ali Fazal, had a lukewarm start on Friday with a collection of Rs. 2.62 crore net. Saturday saw a marginal rise to Rs. 3.10 crore, Sunday was still better with Rs. 4.10 crore net. The first weekend collection comes out to be Rs. 9.82 crore approx., which is not a patch on the collections of Man Of Steel, starring Henry Cavill and Amy Adams.
