“I think that Saif never had a party for Cocktail also, a success party. He is just happy that the movie has done so well. He himself is such a big fan of Aamir that he always says that Aamir is a genius and I also always say that,” she said.

The ceremony is an international award show for world music artistes, which is held in Los Angeles, and is the first music awards of the year.
Reveals a source close to the actor, “Her music has been liked a lot in the west. She has been nominated under three categories — Best Debut, Best Song and Best Video. Her collaboration with Will.i.am for ‘In my city’ has been received well.”

Deepika Padukone feels that glamorous roles require acting!

Deepika Padukone is amongst the few versatile actresses in the industry. The actress has done glamorous as well as non-glamarous roles and she says that it saddens her when people think that glamorous roles don’t require hard work or much of an effort.

Deepika Padukone said in an interview: “I think the role is more important. It is a misconception that a glamorous role doesn’t require acting talent. It’s a bit strange, because I think at the end of the day, any kind of film — whether it is glamorous or ‘de-glam’ (non-glamorous) – requires acting. Acting is acting.”

“For example, people think I gave a brilliant performance as Veronica in ‘Cocktail’, but it was also a glamorous role. For me, it is about the role and the film, not glamour,” she added.

The gorgeous actress made her debut opposite SRK in 2007 in Om Shanti Om, after which there has been no looking back for her.

For Deepika Padukone, it is important that not only her role is appreciated but the film also does well at the box office.

Emraan Hashmi doesn’t want kids to watch his films

Most of Emraan Hashmi’s films have got a ‘A’ certificate by the censor board, yet the actor has a huge fan following among kids. However, Emraan hopes that they don’t watch his films.
“It’s kind of surprising. I hope they don’t watch my films. I am sure it’s probably a connect from music, television… that medium has always had a great impact. Because in many small cities my songs are played in radios so there is certain connection from there,” Emraan told reporters.
The actor attended an art event, ‘Art from the Heart’, that displayed art by underprivileged children. It is a unique CSR initiative by Edenred.

Salman Khan and Psy to perform together on ‘Gangam Style’!

Salman Khan’s popularity is growing rapidly. Now, South Korean sensation Psy, the face behind the super hit song Gangam Style, is on his way to perform in India and as per reports the pop singer will share the stage with Salman Khan. Both the stars are supposed to perform at the opening ceremony of the third edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), which begins on January 19.
A source said: “The singer is aware of the mass popularity of Salman in India.” Since Salman Khan is the captain of the Mumbai team of the T20 cricket league, he will reportedly share the stage with Psy at the opening ceremony of the event.
Not only will Salman Khan rock the stage in Gangnam Style with Psy, he will also dance to some of his hit numbers, adds the source.

Arjun Kapoor looking forward to an eventful 2013!

Arjun said: “I have been shooting for Aurangzeb. I start Gunday soon, I have not started shooting for it. I am very excited for ‘Gunday’, it’s one of my most exciting projects. ‘Aurangzeb’ I am on the verge of completing it. It’s been very interesting; I have been shooting for it for the last three months. ’2 States’ starts after January, little bit of time left for it.”
“So hopefully all three of them will be out next year, it is going to be a big year for me. Looking forward to good things next year,” he added.
Arjun Kapoor will be seen in Aurangzeb first, and he says the audience will love his character in the film and they will also witness anoter side to him.
